Our story

TranslatiON was established in 2004 and has been focusing on exclusive linguistic services, serving companies and clients who are extremely sensitive to quality of the translated message.

Around 5 years ago, we made a serious step forward establishing long-term relations with high-profile companies―the largest bank in Russia, two international public relations companies and a global management consulting firm. Through years of this cooperation, we have gained unique experience, invaluable practical insights and a reputation of a trusted provider of top-notch linguistic services.

In order to meet high demands of our customers, TranslatiON has developed a multi-ladder technology for document translation, including such stages as glossary-making, scientific editing, literary editing, proofreading, post-editing, client-suggested adjustments. This technology requires that the company employs almost exclusively editors of various qualifications.

We continue to refine our technologies and develop new solutions for cost-effective quality translations―with the help of international team of experts, translators and editors. The greater part of them are retainers―translators with the highest level of our trust, who have been on board for more than 10 years.

Since 2017, as the founder of the International Contest of Conference Interpreters (COSINES Pi), we have been developing the methodology for assessing interpreters’ performance and reputation. Additionally, we have recently developed an advanced instrument for online interpreter training using the latest VR technology―SIMPLAY platform.

These and many other initiatives are aimed at improving quality of linguistic services, increasing market transparency and stimulating fair competition.
